Russell’s private-sector background—as External Relations Manager at Republic Services—gives him practical insight into the intersections of policy, business, and environmental stewardship. He actively collaborates with elected officials in Bellevue, Sammamish, and North Bend on recycling, sustainability, public safety, and transportation issues—skills he now brings to advancing Issaquah’s post-pandemic recovery and future growth.
Beyond his professional credentials, Russell has invested deeply in the community through nonprofit service. He currently serves on the boards of The Garage Teen Café, the Economic Alliance of Snohomish County, and the Bellevue Chamber’s Nonprofit Leader Development Committee.
