In her campaign for re-election, Kelli Curtis has made housing a top priority. Her approach to the housing crisis includes increasing growth around rapid transit centers, supporting the implementation of the missing middle bill, and pushing development incentives and subsidies for 0-30% AMI housing. Endorsed by the Affordable Housing Council, the Washington Housing Alliance Action Fund, and the Seattle King County Realtors, Kelli has exemplified her initiative to alleviate the housing pressures in Kirkland with an equitable approach.
Kelli has made it known that she supports the tech community in Kirkland, thanking Google and Amazon for their projects and upzoning initiatives to create unique and vibrant campuses. Given her support for the businesses that drive growth in Kirkland, as well as her desire to see the housing crisis addressed through a diverse and equitable approach, the EBA has endorsed Kelli for re-election.
