David’s commitment to development and bolstering his community can be seen in the progress made on planning for the light rail system, planning for the growth in Overlake with utility upgrades, and planning for the residential neighborhood of Marymoor Village. Additionally, he also played a big role in building the senior center and the new fire station.
Both public safety and accountability top Carson’s priorities, as he has helped the Redmond Police Foundation fund the adoption of a new K9 unit, and has advocated against cuts to Redmond PD staff members. His pro-jobs and pro-growth mentality shows that David is ready for the future, and ready for a booming economy in Redmond.
David also serves on the county Emergency Management Advisory Committee, in addition to chairing a council committee and Communities Facilities District.
David understands the difficulties small businesses face, as he is a small-business owner himself, and is helping with software and hardware consulting services to other small businesses. For these reasons, the EBA sees David Carson’s hard work as a testament to his initiative and commitment to Redmond and has endorsed him in his re-election campaign.
