Redmond

Position: 1

Osman holds the leadership traits and technical know-how to bring the city into its next era of responsible, well-planned growth. A proponent of TOD and upzoning, he not only recognizes the need for more housing and transportation pathways, but that there need to be hefty incentives for developers in order for these plans to come to fruition.

Working as the Communications and Community Engagement Manager for King County Councilmember Sarah Perry, Salahuddin is well-positioned to flex his organizing chops, and his experience as a coffee shop founder lends itself to serving the greater Eastside business community.

Telling the EBA that Redmond is “stronger when we’re all healthy,” Salahuddin also is prioritizing behavioral health and safety, hoping to help establish a comprehensive, community-centric public safety response network within his jurisdiction.
