Paul brings a solid resume of service to the City of Bellevue that will serve him well as a Councilmember. Starting in 2016 he served on Bellevue’s Civil Service Commission — which is dedicated to maintaining Bellevue’s excellent Police and Fire Departments — until 2018 when he was appointed by the City Council to the Bellevue Parks & Community Services Board where he is currently serves as Chair. Under his leadership, the Parks Board has continued to ensure that Bellevue maintains its reputation as the “City in a Park.”

Paul also brings his experience as a downtown resident, and as the owner of a Bellevue-based small business. As the founder of Factoria Labs, Paul understands that a healthy economic environment for businesses of all sizes is critical for Bellevue’s lasting vitality. His experience as a resident of what is now the City’s largest residential neighborhood also brings an additional important perspective.

The EBA members were impressed by the depth of Paul’s understanding of city issues, as well as issues at the intersection of business and government. In particular, his depth of knowledge about the Police and Fire Departments and their importance to maintaining a vibrant business community in Bellevue spurred us to enthusiastically endorse Paul Clark.
